The 2009 Northfield Junior Open was a great success! Roughly 125 young people participated in the three-day tournament -- almost double the number who took part last year. Many thanks to Laura and Nancy Johnson for their incredible work coordinating the event -- and to all the Northfield Tennis Association volunteers who helped make it a great weekend.
Included is a very nice letter to the editor that one of the participating families sent it to the Northfield News.
The Northfield Tennis Association (NTA) is sponsoring a "Tennis Block Party" at the Northfield High School Courts on Saturday, May 16, 2009, from 10:30 a.m. to Noon.
